{"id":472,"date":"2015-08-19T15:45:00","date_gmt":"2015-08-19T22:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wing-on-wing.com\/?p=472"},"modified":"2015-08-27T11:07:26","modified_gmt":"2015-08-27T18:07:26","slug":"whats-on-deck","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/wing-on-wing.com\/?p=472","title":{"rendered":"What&#8217;s On Deck"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ll resume more regular posting in the next month or so, but in the meantime:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I&#8217;m working on finding a new job, since my current contract is about to hit its max of 18 months<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;ve started diving into improving my incredibly poor grasp of Spanish using the excellent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.duolingo.com\">Duolingo<\/a>, as it will become useful as I continue\u00a0my travels around the (mostly tropical) Americas and Caribbean<\/li>\n<li>I have my first trip dedicated to birding lined up: in the third week of September I&#8217;ll be spending four days at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fws.gov\/refuge\/santa_ana\/\">Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Nikon is releasing their new 200-500mm f\/5.6 lens in the middle\u00a0of September and I&#8217;m very tempted to buy it.
